Keep one Ice Pip if you want a rare mine fish collection or a Fish Pond candidate. It is valuable, hard to catch, and available all year on Mines Floor 60.

Selling or smoking extra Ice Pips is reasonable because the base price is 500g. Do not waste repeated attempts unless you specifically want pond stock.
Fish Pond and Roe
Ice Pip Roe is one of the better regular Roe values because the fish has a high base price. A pond is useful if you like passive output from mine fish. Formula value: 280g Roe, then 560g Aged Roe.
